A student-powered media project about climate, atmosphere and the Mediterranean basin.
The Burning Rim is a media project focused on the interaction between climate,
atmosphere and the Mediterranean basin.
It explores how ocean warming, atmospheric dynamics and human activity are reshaping
one of the most sensitive regions of the planet.
The project connects scientific research, climate data and atmospheric physics
to explain complex processes such as stratosphere–troposphere exchange,
upper atmosphere changes and regional climate instability.
SCIENCE
Data, research and scientific sources help explain the climate system and its transformation.
STORYTELLING
Complex atmospheric processes are transformed into a clear editorial narrative.
AWARENESS
The project aims to increase awareness of the changes already affecting the Mediterranean.
